London, Ontario affiliated Maddie Szeryk helped her 23rd ranked Texas A&M women’s golf team to a school record this past weekend.
Szeryk, a dual citizen and member of the Canadian National Team, shot 208 (-8) to earn a share of second individually at the Florida Stare Matchup on the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course and Club.
That helped her Aggies team to a record 54-hole score of 14-under par, which earned them 3rd place in the team competition.
“We had a great finish to the tournament,” said Texas A&M head coach Trelle McCombs. “To shoot 14-under in a college golf tournament, and break the school record is pretty neat.”
Szeryk, now a Junior at the school, is a previous individual winner of the tournament.
Next on the schedule for the Aggies is The Dickson hosted by Houston. They travel to The Woodlands for the event running Feb 27th through 28th.
