Fans of the TaylorMade Spider family of putters will have yet another option come next March.
On the 3rd of that month the company will release the Spider Tour models that have been used by Dustin Johnson and Jason Day, but they will also bring another version to retail – the Spider Tour Platinum.
Available in both left and right hand in 34″ and 35″ lengths, the Spider Tour Platinum is distinguished by a milky chrome steel frame and a red aluminum core.
We tested this high MOI beauty earlier this Fall and found it to be very stable, consistent in ball speed across a large area of the face, and the gunmetal aluminum pure360 insert had a crisp feel.
The stock grip is the Super Stroke GT Pistol 2.0, which may not be for everyone, but fills the hands nicely without being overly large.
Additional features include a double bend shaft and a full-length single sightline.
It will hit retail locations at approximately (CDN) $279.
